Fab evening at The Fireside Lounge promoting my work along with other fellow poets promoting their work too. We had a lovely meal first then we opened the mic. Myself first, Alan Roderick from Newport, host of the open mic The Old Murengher. Followed by lovely Amanda Birch and Mam Aida Birch, the women behind Poems and Pints at the Cambrian inn Neath and who drove from Neath via Gelligear Common had a special encounter with some cows. Mike Jenkins man behind The Red Poets and MC for Red Poets Imp Merthyr. Ian Cross with his lovely partner Elyri. Bridget Leggy Tanner read her own work so well, Sheila Hart, wooed us all, they travelled from Cardiff. My dear friend Tim Richards shocked us but made us laugh out loud.
